Meet Tim!
Tim is a first-generation Dartmouth
student from Boston, MA
He can't wait to
explore the outdoors!
Tim is passionate about biology
and dreams of becoming a doctor
Tim has a family that bears the financial burden of his loans
Tim's dad Chris is
a first responder
His mom Amy is a
secretary at a
doctor's office
They both are taking up extra shifts to pay for Tim's education
but it still isn't enough
Tim's little sister Avery wants to go to Dartmouth someday like
him, but his family isn't sure if they will be able to pay for her too.
Tim is helping his family pay by doing a work study
He works at the library 10
hours per week

But there's one problem

To meet the required contribution and loan
burden of his financial aid package, Tim takes

He wants to
continue helping his

back.
He realizes medical
school would further
add to this financial
burden.
Because of his intense
schedule and financial
pressures,
Tim drops pre-med
How would this change...
...if Tim's student loans were eliminated?
Time would free up for Tim
Time would free up for Tim

Tim could pursue his dreams
And take part in the
